Translated into politics, that means moving much further to the extremes, as a reaction to Trump, that may energize the Democratic base, but lose the political center that wins elections).
Trump’s chaos and violence to our Constitution needs to be challenged with vigor. I agree that following Trump down his extremist rabbit hole is a mistake. But sitting back and hoping this to will past is a mistake as well.
